Medical visa holders must register with the FRRO within 14 days of arrival if the visa validity exceeds 180 days, or whenever the visa specifically requires it. Extensions are granted based on the treating hospital’s recommendation.
We coordinate with hospitals to obtain letters in the format accepted by the FRRO and handle the entire filing so patients and attendants can focus on treatment.
Patients on a Medical (MED) visa and their family members on a Medical Attendant (MED-X) visa, especially where treatment extends beyond the original visa validity.
