The address and sponsor recorded on your Residential Permit must always be current. Failing to inform the FRRO of a change of residence or employer is a violation of visa conditions and can affect renewals and future visa applications.
We file the change intimation through the e-FRRO portal and, where required, obtain a fresh Residential Permit reflecting the updated details.
Registered foreigners who move to a new residence, join a new employer, or transfer to a different educational institution. Intimation is mandatory and should be made within 14 days of the change.
